Ubuntu Coffee Branding

Industry: Coffee Brand  /  Location: Zimbabwe, Africa  /  Commissioned:  Personal

The idea behind this coffee brand from Africa, was to celebrate its african origins.

The name ‘Ubuntu’ is a Nguni Bantu term meaning “humanity.” It is often translated as “I am because we are,” or “humanity towards others,” but is often used in a more philosophical sense to mean “the belief in a universal bond of sharing that connects all humanity”.

The meaning behind the bright red circle, used in some of the illustrations, is to symbolize the african sun AND the red coffee bean, from which the coffee arises.
